Visiting artist: Lisa Radford

Today we had Lisa Radford come and speak to us. She told us about her work with a group of artist called DAMP.
The art that DAMP created was really cool. It varied from sculptural pieces to performance art. My favourite works were the ‘fake nose” performance art and the giant piñata.
It was also very interesting to hear Lisa talk about the relationship between the individual, group and audience. And how making things in conversation with other people and viewing art can help you learn about the world and gain experience. She also talked about a lot of artists that she has met and worked with.
